Jay Kay Quits Music
Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay has announced he is retiring from music.
After recently parting company with Sony/BMG, the singer announced, "I don't know what to do next. He added that he was looking forward to "having kids and finding a good woman." Hopefully someone will remind him that it generally doesn't happen in that order.
"I haven't been happy there for a while," he mused. "I've had some ups and downs but in the end the downs were just too many. When we talked about me leaving, I jumped at the chance."
Thank Christ! Sorry if anyone actually likes this peckerhead but his music is annoying makes me want to throw rocks. I had to stop drinking decent coffee because every dumbass cafe in the country plays this shit.
Let's just hope some of these horrible twangy Indie bands follow him out the door.
In other news, Crackwhore should be getting a fair bit of work done on our album this weekend, or at least get a new song down. I have decided to capture the occasion on my new camera so we can eventually do a 'making of' DVD or have something to put on myspace.
It will most probably just be us drinking, smoking, talking about our wangs, cars, chicks and guitars. Actually that's a great name for the DVD:
'WANGS, CARS, CHICKS & GUITARS'
