So... there never were WMD's after the first Gulf War. We had the administrations of Bush Sr., Clinton and GW constantly assuring us for more than a decade that Saddam Hussein's biological/chemical arsenal was the greatest threat to global peace. And he never had ANYTHING. He had only an informal plan to start up again after sanctions had been lifted. Our government manufactured quite the menace for us, didn't they?
