First day of REAL work!!
Hey guy! (well hey to the maybe three people who actually read this) Im in New Mexico now, the flight was pretty good. We ended up being 20 min EARLY to New Mexico which was good, wait, No it sucked! I had to wait 35 min for Noel to get there because he got a late start...Hows that for a hello? Made it into town around 7 wicked tired due to the two hour time change and the lack of sleep the night before. Went into work at 630 am. Got back from the first day of work around 630 PM. Awesome!. No it really was actually. I really like working in the kitchen. It was a bit scary at first, not knowing any of the menu but by mid morning i had most of it down. I now run the cold side of the kitchen filling in for my sister who was demoted back to the front lol! The cold side of the kitchen incase your not down with the kitchen lingo is... I make all the cold sands, salads, bagles, soups, as well as set ups for Noels side of the kitchen. The deli kitchen is nothing like a dunkins kitchen. We make all do our own soups, cream chesses, and all of the sands are made to order. Plus there is the constant repreping of your Mise en place. Well I miss all of you and the two hours i lost of sleep, but im alive and well in new mexico and liking my job for once! Please feel free to call me whenever and Ill def be calling you at some point. Ill update you all alittle more... Im busting my ass as i type to keep my eyes open. Im so pooped! Until next time.
