as permanent as I've been in over 6 months
I'm thinking I have an apartment. Its not far at all from Parris, in Flatbush on 35th & Avenue L. I really like it. It's a 2 bedroom basement apartment with a full bath and kitchen and the walls are paints like a pink-red. The bedroom is full furnished with two dressers, a twin bed and armoir (and the furniture matches). All I have to do is bring the lady the deposit tomorrow, which is $120, and I'm set. This kicks so much ass.
And let me just say that Shawn is probably the best person I know right now. Not only did he drive me all the way from is apartment in Bedstuy to this place, he went in a with me to give the yay or nay, and he was ready to put down the deposit money so the place would be held for me. :)
I'll know officially tomorrow if I get the place.
