If someone were to ask you,
“Is Rodney an old man?”
You would simply reply,
“He’s not a day past 22”
But you see, Rodney was wrinkled,
“We’ll he looks much older.”
You hadn’t been through the same,
“His childhood lasted only a week.”
His parents look younger, he would tell you,
“They didn’t need to get old.”
He had forced responsibility,
“He made dinner by the age of 2.”
During his eulogy his parents would add,
“Good riddance, what a bother.”
He never complained, never shed a tear
“Rodney’s gone home, he’s not here.”
