I wore clothes to bed last night so I wouldn't have to take any time getting ready this morning. I wore a yellow T-shirt, huge black baggy linen pants, socks, and my worn-out-with-holes-but-incredibly-comfortable black-and-white sneakers.
It rained today. I have no raincoat nor umbrella. Because my pants are too long and my shoes have holes, everything from mid-shin down was sopping wet by the time I got to physics, although Jeremy and I shared an umbrella.
On my way from physics to make an advising appointment, I ran into my cousin Rachel, who immediately fell sorry for my dripping-wet self and gave me her umbrella. Nothing like the love of cousins you only saw once every five years until you ended up in the same dorm freshman year of college.
Italian was fun as usual today. Walking back to my apartment a friend who was driving down the street got my attention and gave me a ride the rest of the way to my apartment, which was nice. We sang "Singing in the Rain" on the way.
The great thing about today is that the only homework I have is reading Cicero, and my Creative Writing class is cancelled so I can go nap for a little while (I'm exhausted) and then just kill time for awhile, and get stuff for my sister and go see my dad and go get milk and onions...
Although I've brought half the Gulf of Mexico into my apartment, I feel good. GOOD.
