Crazy stuff happening this week, which was capped off by crazyness last night. Thanks Ellie for throwing a great party, it was the most fun i've had in a while. That guy Nathan who was over was crazy. It was surreal seeing phil and him spooning at the end of the night, i don't know if nathan was asleep but he was just constantly gropping phil's ass in a sloppy way. I also saw the Bourne Supremacy which was wicked cool. Such a tight well paced action thriller. It really made me want to take trains, where leather jackets and get many stamps in my passport.
It wasn't too bad staying at the Georgian College summer hostel last week, pretty cheap and i only had a 20 minute drive to work instead of just over an hour. Though one of the nights a bat got into the room and i tired getting it to fly out of the window for about 30 frantic minutes. I think i may have killed it, or maybe just stunned it, but i cornered it and hit it really hard the a broom. I still don't feel good about that.
Working for the city of Orillia is still very messed up in my opinion. At times it seems like such an old boys club. A semi attactive girl well come to the planning counter and the men who work there well discuss her for like a half hour after. Saying lots of things like 'Did you see those legs' and 'i kept on going back to refill my coffee cup so i could have another look'. I though my three summers working at Hostas Frito-Lay would be the end of that sort of thing. But it seems that it continues in all collars of work. Also last week I taking minutes at a meeting on the site plan approval for Orillia's first gated community. It looks like it's going to be approved. It's funny how all thru out univerity I was constantly taught the evils of gated commuties. First month of the job i'm typing writting a draft letter on why council should approve it.
