I assume so! I haven't been able to come up with another explanation for it, at least.

It is pretty nice as far as tricks go, though! [The fallen books rise and begin to reshelve themselves again.] I'm getting the hang of it.

[He moves around Maka, accidentally brushing against the back of her hand. He gets five steps away before he stops and stares at his hand.]

[A few more books on a different shelf start to rearrange themselves, the next job that Erk had to do. He turned back to Maka, and there was an uncharacteristically large smile on his face.]

It seems I did get a superpower after all.

[Maka watches with an equally big smile on her face, her controlled books still flying back and forth. Then of course she has to be logical.]

So, some sort of power absorption?

I think so! Physical contact seems to absorb whatever information is necessary. I don't know if I'll be able to store powers or how long it'll last, but-
