ok two days of classes are under my belt. i think my research methods class is going to be really interesting. i like research methods so i think i will do fine in that. my other class is a classical theory class. we had to read the first five chapters of a book for the first class. i dont really care about classical theory. though i know it is important to learn about the history of sociological theory but Herbert Spencer and Comte are not very exciting to read about. also the prof talks really fast and it's hard to take notes. luckily today he lectured straight from the book so it was okay if i missed some stuff cause i already read the material. all of this is going to be a fuck-ton of work. i am going to be doing presentations in my sleep! (prairie home companion is a boring movie)

oh and get this. i was supposed to be working for this Ciccantell guy. well yesterday i get a call at 1:45 from Susan Caringella who teaches Criminology. she is who i was originally placed with before i got switched. well she tells me that i am supposed to be working for her and i say no i got switched. apparently i got switched back and no one bothered to tell me! so she says that her class starts at 2pm and do i think i could make it. i had really bad cramps earlier in the day so i wasnt showered or dressed or anything. so i threw on some clothes and drive up to the campus really quickly and barely make it to her class. fucking nuts. i cant believe that no one told me i got switched back. but whatever i guess.

this is going to be an interesting year.
