Baseball, never leave me.
I am ECSTATIC that baseball is back! This is the most glorious time of year! I've been looking forward to opening weekend since like, November. One of my most favorite things to do in the WHOLE WORLD is to put baseball on my television and settle in with a new book. (What is EVEN MORE FUN is actually going to games, but that'll happen later this weekend.)
While I'm disappointed that my franchise gave away like, the entire team during the off-season, I can't wait to see what the NEW players can do. And while I'm disappointed that my team LOST to the ORIOLES (of all teams), I'm optimistic that the season will get better. I'm not expecting a repeat of last year. I'm definitely not expecting them to win the division or even the wildcard. But I've decided to enjoy the season no matter where the season finds these boys.
