no, I can't take one more step towards you
I'M STILL ALIVE. I PROMISE.
1. I've just been kind of absent-minded lately. I worked an all-time high amount of hours (for me) at work last week, and I've been getting ready for vacation so there's all kinds of little things to get done.
2. I've also been watching A LOT of baseball, on tv and at the Trop. I got to see my boy, Garza, win on Monday night, even though he couldn't find the strike zone. And then today I suffered through my company's yearly trip to see the Rays play and got stuck talking to someone's wife for SEVEN INNINGS. I didn't get to see ANYTHING. PISSED ME OFF. The woman wouldn't shut up. I don't go to a baseball game to socialize. Don't assume that since I own a vagina that I don't want to watch sports. (Sidenote: the MOST ADORABLE BABY IN THE UNIVERSE was at the game. That helped control the socializing-induced RAAAAAGE.)
3. I'm really sad that Alex injured himself on SYTYCD. I wanted to cry FOR him, but I did not. I was just mildly depressed that his dancing wouldn't be on my tv every week. =/ Poor kid. I don't have the energy to look for routines right now, but nothing's really been super amazing lately anyway.
4. I saw Jared Padalecki's faaaaace around livejournal this weekend. I approve of the hair. And the dimples. I ain't mad at 'im.
5. My Jonas tour date (fml, no really) got rescheduled from a Friday night to a WEDNESDAY night. This is upsetting. I don't even know if I can logistically go anymore, or if I even really want to. I can get a refund from ticketmaster and that undisclosed amount of money is looking really good right about now, not gonna lie. This has been an expensive summer, and I've managed to save exactly NOTHING since March.
6. JOSHUA RADIN IS GOING TO BE IN MY AREA IN OCTOBER. I'M SO THERE. MAYBE TWICE. Actually, that's a lie. One of the venues is outside without a roof, and Florida in October is too unpredictable. But I'm definitely going to do to the other INDOOR venue. Even though it's further away.
I think that's enough of my meaningless word-vomit. I may or may not be around this week, if not, SEE Y'ALL IN AUGUST. IMMA BE IN CANADA.
