the past few days..
i'm getting so sick of not being able to get a hold of managers, lol i have to wait another week until shes back in. but at least she had my app already out to look at it again and call me, thats a good sign. plus, i really want to work at Dunn Bros tho. it would be fun, and not as stressful as Caribou or Startbucks (yet i did apply online the other night, but i'm sure it wont be open b4 school starts) thanks for the people who have told me about places that are hiring. i'm really trying. but anyway, enough about job stuff. So this past weekend i was in Chicago for my sister's orientation. Shes transfering to Loyola. It should be nice for her tho since it'll be like 4 or 5 hours closer to home (and she'll be able to make it back for showchoir and stuff too) that is if she has her car....kinda hoping she'll not take it and i'll just pay her rent for having it, but i know she wants it there tho too...we'll just have to see. thats a whole other story. so yeah, we shopped and walked the downtown streets of Chicago pretty much all day. Then ended up going to Des Moines to meet up with my mom's friend from college. It was fun, a lot of talking tho and so at times this weekend, it was kinda pointless for me to be there cause i really need to be there. i dunno why my parents wouldnt just let me stay here, but i think i will be staying here when they take her to school. i just always feel like i'm in the way when it comes to stuff like that. we'll just see i guess...so as far as this week has gone so far, not all that exciting. Last night was a ton of fun tho!! a bunch of us went bowling!! wow did i have fun! =) i thought it was funny how many groups from Hastings kept coming in..lol i swear there were probably at least 8 lanes of just Hastings people...lol does that say something about how badly we need something like bowling back in Hastings so we have something to do. I didnt realize how cheep it was at night!! lol i was wondering why we were going a bit late, lol now i know why. =) but that was a blast! tonight i'm heading to Caribou again with Jen Fox (which i did last week too) but there are SO many things to catch up on!! ( i love ya Jen Fox!! you rock!) so yeah, well i hope everyone has been having a great week..i'll write later about the rest of the week...band camp next week, i'm actually kinda looking foward to it. yet a lot of long hours. =) yay band..lol luv ya guys!!
