Rachel's here!

Rachel decided that she was done with waiting, and so she was born at 2:02pm at Yongsei Severance University Hospital in Sinchon-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul. She is about 4 pounds and a bit early, at 32 weeks, but she's healthy and lively. As a preemie, Rachel will be spending a few weeks in the NICU, but her prognosis is excellent

Blerf, I'm sorry she was early, but really glad she's doing well and prognosis is good.

If you need anything from someone who has "been there done that" with the NICU, let me know.

Thanks. We had our first NICU happy funtime when Emily was born; Rachel actually had a better APGAR than she did!

Oh my gosh, congratulations! Most premies look like scrunchy old men, but she's such a beautiful little girl already. Rachel is a lovely name, too.
