I gave the notice yesterday, and my supervisor said that after seeing my art on another occasion earlier she understood me, and knew that she couldn't make me stay. I was grateful. The only question is my final day of service. I wanted it to be early Dec, but she wanted to me stay till the end of Dec. I guess I'll tell her that I can wait till mid-Dec but not any longer next week, especially after what happend on this Friday.
So the background is that our company was acquired by another rich state-owned company, but we are still us and not them. On Friday we got an order from above that we should vote for their chairman on Sina into the most influential financial figures this year, which requires you to download a Sina app on your phone first... and today I found out that they are really serious about it and require every employee to vote for that chairman and they'll record how many votes every department contributes... today I got 2 mentions in our HR wechat group asking me to vote. Well, fuck you. I'm an educated person and I know my rights. You don't get to say if I should vote and who I should vote for. Fuck you for thinking I'm a moron who's just gonna do whatever you say and download that stupid app into my phone.
Seriously, how ridiculous is that ?????? If this says anything about this company, it's that it's going to hell.

My only concern is that since the whole department knows I haven't voted yet, will they do anything to make my last couple of weeks here difficult?
