1. I started watching the show when S6 was airing, and caught up with it in 2 months, and it was hard to love souless Sam when the memory of care bear Sammy was still fresh. But I grew to see the lovable things (I mean, best shirtless version of Sam, I must have been temporarily blind not to enjoy that!) in him, and missed him a lot when he had to go.
2. For a Samgirl, I've drawn too much Dean and not enough Sam, and I can't help it. When I think about upcoming challenges (reversebang, for instance) I'm still considering hurt!Dean, for when is he not hurt? :( But I guess that's also because I found Dean very hard to draw, and I made a lot of attempts to pin down the features of his perfect face. I hope at least some internal characteristics such as determination, bravery, *coughs*brokenness came through the art to make up for the lack of external precision. I'm finding Sam hard to draw as well. It actually needs some work to make his curly hair, tilted eyes and pointed nose come together beautifully as they should.
3. Sometimes fanarting restricts the range of your exploration to one world, but in spn fandom, the sky is the limit. I can put Sam and Dean in any conceivable context. I've already tried new ways of coloring, some creatures, landscapes. It's not much but it's already more than what I could do in other fandoms.
4. It took me 1 year to accept Sam/Dean AU that wanders far from canon (like,Sam and Dean are not hunters), and obviously I missed many good stories out there.
5. I started drawing J2 only recently (*blames masquerade ;) )
6. I wish I'll have a chance to go to a con in the future. When I watch a con vid and see how concentrated Jared and Jensen are on fans who are asking questions, I'm thinking...god, I wouldn't be able to speak a word with them staring like that...
7. I feel lucky to be part of this fandom where writers and artists and vidders inspire each other daily and are sharing and contributing generously. I'm happy to get to know my flist better, and you are all very kind and awesome souls.
8. Some people come and go, but I won't leave until you all stop writing and arting and fangirling :)
9. Ooh I have another one! It's weird that in my art the boys are more erotic with clothes on than when they are bucknaked. What do you think?
10. I wish livejournal will continue to be home to creative fans.
