So Sam and Dean somehow parallel Cathy and Hareton. They were both inmates of a dark, somber house located miles away from the nearest human neighborhood. The master of the house (a powerful foreign force, like YED? acts like Heathcliff) carefully cultivated the worst qualities in Dean and raised him to be a loyal soldier, and assigned him to attend to Sam, another special inmate in the house, who was struggling with the curse of demon blood (either inherited or forced into the body). One day they decided to break free. Dean lost an arm as the price. But here they are at the moors where their lives begin anew.
I didn't think through every detail but this was enough to work with :)
