This has been stuck on repeat in my head for the past two weeks. Still, I have to admit that the video is pretty awesome.
I shouldn't really complain. At least it's a decent track that I actually like.
Sadly, it's nearly impossible to hear any good music in Vegas nightclubs with one or two rare exceptions. It seems that most of the people who visit this city are from some podunk town in the middle of nowhere and/or are only interested in hearing the same old shit that is always playing on any generic pop station. I cannot begin to count how many disappointed visiting Europeans I meet who are completely bummed about the lackluster music scene.
A few months back, my husband had a DJ gig at Caesar's and was banging out the groovy, soulful House set that he had been hired to play. At one point some guy had the gall to approach him and request an Annie Lennox song. However, it wasn't just any Annie Lennox song. It was Walking on Broken Glass.
I cannot think of a faster way to clear a dance floor. Seriously, what is wrong with people?
