Being Lazy & Lethargic Results in a Wasted Weekend
So Friday night we had Poker/PS3 Night at the house. Had a few glasses of Tequila OJ (mixed by Jojbers) and was feeling a bit wasted already but decided I cannot go to sleep until I fix the damage. So to make the long story short, I slept at 4am-ish.
Saturday. Woke up at 12nn. Was able to gather enough energy to cook the steak and the ribs and actually eat. Around 4pm-ish, I felt sleepy so I decided to take a nap. Decided I will just wake up later with more than enough time to get ready for the 930pm movie. Woke up 8pm. *feels sheepish*
Saw Legion at TBP.

It's not a bad movie per se but I'd have to say, Avatar has nothing to worry about when it comes to this movie. Since some people may not have seen this yet and I am lazy lethargic today, I will not even attempt to write a review. Too much effort.
I would have to say though, this movie also stars Willa Holland and having been a fan of The O.C. a few years back, the only thing I can say is, "Damn! That little girl has grown up." And she looks like Misha Barton. Too bad Misha messed up her career, I don't know, she may have ended up having this role (though a bit of rewriting would have been required).
Oh, and Lucas Black was in the movie too. I remember when I was young and I had the biggest crush on Elijah Wood and my sister won tickets to The War. That's where I first saw him. It's nice to see that he's still able to get work these days. I hope he got paid a good chunk of change for that one.
The best part of the movie is, simply put, Paul Bettany. He is the perfect role for the part of Archangel Michael. The face is sooo beautiful. And the accent, oh the accent! Yummy.

Ok, now on to other things.
1. Today is Sunday. That means it's bro's last day in Singapore then he's off to return to the homeland. :'( I'm going to miss him but the good thing about Singapore is it's near. He'll just have to come back and visit me again. I'm also wanting another birthday trip with the siblings this year but we'll have to wait and see. Things right now are not ideal for a birthday trip but we'll never know. Things change quite fast.
2. Can you believe it's almost February? Wasn't it just mid-2009 yesterday? Time flies so fast. Thank goodness I don't have a child or I would be bawling my eyes out seeing how fast they grow.
3. Chinese New Year is coming up! I don't celebrate it, of course, but I get to have a 4-day weekend. Yipee!!! I seriously need to recharge.
4. I'm sleepy again.
5. Flickr is not working for me. What am I doing wrong? I want to be able to link Flickr photos to this blog so if I want to click on it, it can magnify or whatever. Constructing English sentences at 2 in the morning is not so easy for me especially when I'm sleepy. Oh, I mentioned sleepy already, right?
6. I forgot about my other random thoughts. Will just update later.
I hear sweet slumber beckoning to me but I must resist. I don't know why. :S
