The falling leaves drift by the window...
Hmm.. so, I was really quite stressed there for a bit, but all seems to be going well at the moment. 18 hours got the best of me, and I dropped Arabic. I was really sad, but I just didn't have the time to give it.. and it needed lots of time to study and practice. I was failing.
The second I pushed the button to drop it, I felt this sudden feeling of relief rush over me. It was great.
I have started tutoring people in French in place of Arabic class, and I get $10 an hour to do it. Today was my first day; no one showed up, so I got paid $25 to sit in an empty classroom and do my homework. Pretty sweet, I must say :) As soon as this gets going full force, I will be making roughly $500 a month between tutoring and the daycare.. and I don't work anywhere on Fridays. Pretty exciting stuff.
All my other classes are going well so far, I had all A's at midterm... we shall see how long this lasts.
As far as the important stuff, life just keeps getting better. Every day I fall a bit more in love, and it is the greatest thing in the entire world. I thank God every day for sending me such a perfect person :) I am also spending time family, but probably not quite as much as I really should.
Also, I have been going to the college bible study at Big Hill with Travis on Wednesday nights. It is exactly what I have been needing! I still get to spend time with Travis, but I get that small pick-me-up in the middle of the week.. it really keeps me going and refocuses me.
Rocksoberfest tonight was a letdown, lol.. there were no shirts and some country dude sang for forever. I would have rather skipped the performance, because I think the funds were rationed in favor of the entertainment rather than the free stuff.. not my idea of a good budget use, but whatever floats their little boats I guess,
I am excited for the Halloween Hoopfest that is coming up next week too, that means... BASKETBALL TIME IS HERE! :)
This weather makes me oh so happy.. also:
Spiced chai lattes
sweaters
coffee
scarves
going to church
decorating for fall
getting out the cold-weather stuff
using the heat in the car
falling leaves (even if they are an ugly brown... )
