(no subject)
Well I haven't posted anything in a thousand years. So... what's new... I can't remember where I left off so... let's go back to DragonCon. DC was awesome. No one got my anime-chick-being-attacked-by-a-tentacle-monster costume. Adam's BSG costume went over well and Adam met the guy who plays Helo and in a ginormous fanboy moment bought his autograph. Mike was the Snape with the REAL dark mark. He actually was THE BEST Snape there. Amanda's Rainbow Brite was amazing as was Marisa's Red Riding Hood with the wolf's head. Can't wait for next year.
Samhain was cool. Adam and I held a harvest festival in which we served beef stew in either pumpkins or bread bowls. Rachel made colcannon which is an Irish pototo caserole-like dish.
Next we have Mike and Amanda's Halloween party. I remember almost nothing of it. I made a zombie costume of ripprd up, dirty, (fake) bloody rags and a lot of face paint that I am told looked really good. I did a shot and 1.5 drinks and passed out. I'm thinking I might have to quit the liquour. It only ever seems to affect me MORE strongly. I do remember thinking Adam looked fiercely adorable in his Gladiator costume.
Then comes thanksgiving. For a brief shining moment (now gone) Adam and I had the house clean. It's getting back there slowly. Mostly its my stuff. My mom is moving out of her 2 bedroom apartment where I have kept the vast majority of my stuff. Now I have totry to fit it into Adam's house. That';s going to be a trick. One thing is for sure, I gotta get rid of some clothes. But that's not a bad thing. Most of the clothes I have I never wear and I plan to develop a style as soon as my bills are under control... on the 12th of never.
So... that's all the new stuff I can think of for now and Adam wants to watch me play Final Fantasy II.
