What is going on?

been doing nothing much last weekend. looking out to the weather makes me want to stay home and relax totally. even that I have 2 disappointments.

For one, i can be sure advertisement are nothing but just a load of burst out balloon. If I did not remember wrongly, the ad for the AEO fair which is held at Pan Pacific yesterday, had the ad for 3 days, with the last been a half page ad. wow.. you may thought. thinking it will turn out to be a huge event. yes, I happened to one of the silly person around thinking this is the one and I got all excited and even planned to be there once the door open at 11am!!!

Hmm.. how wrong I was. The moment I entered the ballroom, I was lost for words - it was pathetic! In total, there were only 20 participating schools. hah! unbelievable, out of thousands of schools in the state. Worst, most of them are pretty unknown at least not the top 200 hundreds. what a let down. The actual event was of such great difference to what the ad stated. I was barely in there for 5 mins and took off. Think I'l upload a picture of the ad.

Above are the list of school that participate in the exhibition.  Only 20 schools and it does not cover all the state in US.

Well, on the other side I am able to try Carl's Junior... at last. The burger is really really huge and can be a real mess when eating it, but I survived. What better way to surpress a disappoinment, that is to eat.

The 2nd is been with Starhub. Thank goodness, I wasnt their mobile phone subscriber and will never be one. Not after hearing so many complaints from my colleague and so on so on.....  Never would I have thought their cable service can be that lousy!

The story goes.... ~ ~ ~ on knowing their promo, my mum decided to re-subscrible the cable for the variety of show. so we told them to come installed it on sat. Here came the technican, a rookie. After fixing, and saying goodbye. I switched on the boxset, eager to watch it. ... no audio and was black and white. Hmm.. am I watching a Charlie Chapin show?? How can anyone fixed without checking if it is ok? Is waiting another 10 mins too much to ask, afterall that is the standard from the Starhub before they start the subscription.

He came back shortly after we made the call. Still he cannot fix the problem. at least we can watch it full colur with audio, except couldnt record it. Before he left he promised he will ask another technician to come the next day around the same time.

The day came and no sign of that person, called up and was told he couldnt make it that afternoon and change it to night time 7 to 9pm - we believe that person has forgotten about it. Same thing occur, no sign of the "MIA" person. This time we called up again and threaten to stop the subscribtion, in return he gave us a lame excuse - that person was busy.  ~ ~ ~

How can anyone be so irresponsible and not give a call when you cant turn up. Dont they know lotsa time is wasted just by waiting. Apparently, Starhub dont place their customer satisfaction as their top priority. Dont they realise they are no longer the only one with cable? If such lousy service to go on, wondering how long they can survive. Without a doubt, their advertisement is coming up and fast and had really huge budget. No matter how great they are, word of mouth advertisement is still the most reliable and fastest of the most. They had better wake up and improve their service.

Well, till then I shall wait till tomorrow and see what happen. Otherwise, all the above will go straight to The Straits Time forum page. Haha.. Evil, am I?!?!?!
