WHITE COLLAR FINALE WAS TONIGHT GUYS.
JUST FUCKING DAMN MAN.
Kate's not dead! Kate can't be dead. I mean, I knew the plane was going to explode. Anyone should have seen that coming. Plus that fiery explosion spoiler and just yea, it was gonna happen. I'm ambivalent about Kate - there's so much hate for her in the fandom because Neal loves her, and it's so strongly hinted she's just using him. Whatever. I'm interested to see how it'll play out but we'll see so much angst!Neal next season if she's really dead. You have to wonder though. If the plane was going to explode and she was in on it, why not just wait until he was on the plane and slip out of the door and then explode the plane? Why not just wait Neal was on? It makes me think Kate isn't in on it, or if she is, she got cold feet and made it explode early to save Neal.
I'M SO HAPPY DIANA'S BACK. I was only ever lukewarm toward Lauren, but it was mainly just the way her character was handled. Just not very useful. And Alex. I love Alex.♥ I was lukewarm toward her too - a hot lady trying to win the hot boy, whatever. But her attitude, and her double crossing and the way she's been the past few episodes and her reason for coming back with the box - I like her a lot. I'm hoping they utilize her next season like nobody's business.
Oh Elizabeth. You know I love you. And Peter, you know I adore you too. So much. I'm sad Mozzie didn't get a proper goodbye - I mean not even a hug, wtf! I'm hoping Neal smartens up next season in regards to Kate, in regards to the life he's living. I certainly wasn't expecting... so much morality here at the end with Peter and Neal. Living the good life, doing good with his life, making a difference - it's something you know, somewhere, Neal cares about. And Peter knows that and alsdjfasdf. You run after someone for four years, you have a reason to know.
I hope we're vindicated next season. Because I feel that the Kate plot is a main factor in why I like White Collar, without the prettiness - because this is a constant war of Neal walking a straight line and resisting temptation. Without a Kate - without a reason to be jerked forward and backward and double motivations - you get a cop show. And I like very few cop shows, no matter how good the bromance is and the characters and the stories. You want to see this guy succeed in doing right, you want him to beat bad guys, but you want to know it's through emotional turmoil, for a higher end. Without a Kate, Neal has no reason to continue with what's he doing. He can disappear. Once you lose that edge, that constant question, I think you lose what makes this show special.
And all those analytical thoughts aside, FUCKING A MAN, WAS NEAL GORGEOUS SCULPTING OR FUCKING WHAT? WITH THE HAT AND THE COAT AND FLAILLL. ♥♥ I fucking love intense Peter. Those eyes! And-and-and that last fucking line man, oh my god, I fucking swear, I was holding my hands over my mouth and kicking my legs back and forth agitatedly and just a messssss. For the love of god man:
"You said goodbye to everyone but me. Why?"
"I don't know."
"Yeah you do. Tell me."
"I don't know! Peter..."
"Why?"
"You know why!"
"Tell me!"
"Because you're the only one who could change my mind!"
For real? I was FULLY expecting: "BECAUSE I LOVE YOU" to come out of his mouth. Oh man. Damn I love these two. ♥
I drove to Phoenix today, had Thai food, spent some time with some good people I love, and saw a damn good Barcelona show and now there's a cat playing with my hair. Day well spent.
