-Take good care of my hair. No really-- I'm tired of the dullness, the breakage, the split ended-ness, the frizz, and the tangles. After doing my research I've concluded that ALL of my hair problems are externally caused. Goodbye daily flat ironing, intense blow drying, and plastic brushes; hello heat protecting products, deep conditioning, and boar bristles. :)
-Lose 10-15 more pounds (and get more toned!) Yes, I've already lost 30 since last summer, and yes I feel amazing and I'm very happy with the way I look already. But I know I have a naturally slender frame and musculature, so I'd look and feel perfectly healthy if I lost ten or fifteen more. I could have a super sexy beach body, so why not go for it? I'm better off without Fruity Yogurt a few blocks away from my house anyway.
-Write a ton of music. I've written one song in 14 months... literally! That is so unacceptable. If I'm going to get better at this I need to be prolific. Even if I think it's cheesy or sub-par, I'll still write it down and record it. After all, there's always room for tweaking and embellishing.
-Learn how to use the grill. We have an AMAZING grill in our backyard, and it's primarily my stepdad's domain. But why? Why can't I learn how to make the perfect BBQ ribs or kebabs? Summertime is the perfect opportunity to expand my culinary repertoire outside of baking and breakfast foods. I can't wait!
-Stop being so goddamn lazy. I have a great summer job lined up for me already that requires waking up at 6:30 every morning... it's the perfect chance for me to get into a daily rhythm and stop being a total slacker. I know I can do it, but expect some serious whining the first couple weeks.
-Spend time with family. I love my family! I feel like I never see them! If I'm living at home for the summer, I need to actually spend time with them instead of traipsing all over New Jersey every weekend (not to say that I won't visit my faraway friends!)
-Save up for a car. I can't, can't, CAN'T blow all the money that I make this summer. I need to put 70-80% away so I can actually get myself some wheels at some point. w00t
I'm sure I have more, but I have music to learn! :) :)
