French can be quite fun when pronounced properly
Alright so let's make a little overview over my weekend...All-State was freaking incredible. Our clincian was from Calgery, Canada and her accent was sooo cute! She was this little petite woman who looked like you could almost breathe on her and she'd blow away but she was just the nicest thing with the exception of her tendency to make us work on single songs for long chunks of time (a.k.a 2 hours on Salve Regina). But the sound was absolutly breath taking and the concert was just freakishly amazing (I actually started to cry during our last song on stage, which was funny considering how lively it was). We premired (yeah we actually were the first choir to sing this arrangement) of The Star of Belle Isle which is this beautiful Irish folk song and we sang this awesome piece called Mouth Music which goes at an insanely fast speed but is just fantastic (the drums that went with it were just astounding). The city itself was great for the first two days but once it started to freeze over the three blocks from our hotel room to the convention center suddenly went on forever. I took a riverboat ride, saw Date Movie, ran to about a million rehearsals, went to Hot Topic for the first time, met my brother's new girlfriend, found myself in the midst of a whole lot of drama, made about a million new friends who I'll probably never see again, heard some great news about Dr. Weber and what she thought of my audition, saw Nick, Cody, Mrs. Boyter, Mrs. Robinson, Will's Mum, and some really cute guys, waited about forty minutes to get into the ultra fabulous mixed concert and came away with a snazzy bumper sticker, pin, patch and t-shirt. Alright well that's about it for now. I leave you with the interesting survey (like you don't know enough about me already.
