The assembly was in the auditorium. One of the teachers announced all the sports awards, then the drama class gave a little preview of "Pride and Prejudice." Then they had this slide show premiering the yearbook's cover and such.

So up until the slide show, Tommy was saying how he doesn't like all the lights on in the auditorium. He wanted them to turn off the ones in the back, where we were, or at least turn them down. Before the slide show, he occasionally would brush my arm with his fingers, and would playfully poke my arm so I'd poke him back. When the lights went off for the show, he brushed my arm again, but more noticeably. I could tell he wanted to take my hand. So I moved my arm so that it would be easier to hold, and he took it. We held hands all throughout the slide show, only stopping when we stood up to give Mr. Mac a standing ovation for being such a great teacher all these years. Then we sat down and he took my hand again.

It was perfect, really. Comfortable. Just sitting there, fingers laced, with his thumb brushing mine.

Sorry, I don't mean to go into great detail or anything. But it was good.

And he was mentioning how he'd been wanting to go into Langley on Friday. He said he was probably going to see a movie, but would just catch the transit after school and hang out in Langley. You know, walking on the beach and around town and such. I asked him what was playing. He said he didn't know, but that he guessed he'd have to find someone to go see it with (yeah right). So he asked if I'd want to go. I said sure. I checked The Clyde's website, and "13 Going On 30" is playing. Ok, so it's not something I really wanted to see, but hey, it's a date.

Anyway, I should go. Mom's been waiting for me to finish so she can close up the gallery. So till next time.

PS: Got my yearbook. It's awesome. :D
