Not quite what you mean, I know. But I really love writing Young!Severus. It could be I’m sadistic and I know what happens to him, but there’s something so pure and innocent about him. He’s very lost, but so…sweet. In his way. I rather enjoy it.

…Mun: it varies at different times for different reasons, in no order: Ernest Hemingway, Victor Hugo, Terry Pratchett, and Neil Gaiman. Ellis’ is Tomie dePaola.
3. Lucius (grownhp): What was the point of that...'discussion' we had in your office before we left to look for Scorpius? I mean, what exactly did you expect to get out of it?
I wanted to make sure I had your “A” game, Mr. Lupin. I’m sure you had best intentions in mind, but this wasn’t one of your students that if they didn’t please you, you could write off as a bad seed and move on. This was my grandson. I needed to be convinced that you would…give everything you had to give and then some.

It does not do to dwell on dreams, and forget to live, Professor Lupin.

Quieter, Sensei Lupin. Not better. I find it makes people unhappy if I’m…curious. So I’m not curious.

Knowing you can throw Judas in prison forEVAH! Naw…you listen. I mean Harry and Saiah, and Judas…do too but…you’re kind of like dad. You listen and don’t judge…and unlike dad, you don’t hit me.

Mexican food. The cumin, and peppers and spices.

5. (mun) How'd Ellis get born?
I don’t know honestly. I needed another child muse for GrownHP, and I wanted someone who carried the scars of the war externally. Something that is visible, the way Ellis doesn’t meet your eyes when he talks or how he takes a moment to react or (and I think he’s done this maybe twice) doesn’t hear you…but also have the kind of strength to be secure in that. I was also thinking this kid would have never been aware he “lost” something because it happened a young age, and he never would have been ostracized because A) Lily’s heart doesn’t do that and B) Severus doesn’t let failings become excuses. So naturally this over…rambunctious snot appeared.
