"What are talking about pumpkin?" Donghae asked turning around in his seat.
"Huh? What? Oh n-nothing…" Sungmin said as his cheeks became red.
"You're not thinking about the girl you like, are you?" Siwon asked as he came over to Sungmin’s desk.
"What!" Sungmin shouted. "Don't be silly. I don't like anyone." He said in a more calm tone.
"Right of course not." Ryeowook said from behind him.
"Tell me who it is! Tell me, tell me!" Donghae whined.
"I would tell you but I don't like anyone." Sungmin said angrily.
"Hey what are you guys talking about?" Kangin asked. "Could it be me?" He thought to himself. "Yes, it must be. Donghae must be telling all his girlfriends that he has a crush on me."
"It's none of your business." Sungmin said still as angry as before.
"Whatever I'm going home." Siwon said. He got up and left the three friends and Kangin alone.
"Uh… I gotta go too. Bye." Kangin said running as fast as he could out of the room.
"Hey where'd Ryeowook go?" Donghae asked, looking around. "Oh well. I've gotta go. Yoona’s probably waiting for me."
"Great I'm all alone again." Sungmin said and then sighed. "I guess I should be going home as well."

The next day after their last class…
"Hey Donghae." Sungmin said poking Donghae’s back.
"Yeah what?" Donghae replied.
"How would you tell the guy you liked how you feel." Sungmin said quietly.
"Oh ho. So you do like someone? But a-am I wrong? I heard guy?? Should it be girl??." Donghae said with mischievous in his eyes.
"Fine so I do, I’m gay got it?? but can you help me??" Sungmin said.
"Well if you're to shy to tell him in person, you should write a note." Donghae said more seriously.
"That's a great idea!" Sungmin said with a smile and ran out the door. "Thanks! I'll see you tomorrow!" Sungmin yelled behind him.

At Sungmin’s house…
Next week there was a Christmas dance coming up. Sungmin sat at a desk in his huge house, preparing to write a letter asking Kangin to go to the dance with him.
"Now all I have to do is slip this into his locker tomorrow. I'll have to be at school extra early."

The next morning before class…
"This should be his…" Sungmin said to himself. He put the letter in his locker. "Now all I have to is wait until this afternoon."

That afternoon behind the school…
"He should be here by now…" Sungmin said his voice trailing. " Maybe he didn't get the letter."
"Rich-brat?" Kangin said, coming out from hiding. "Did you write this?"
"Uh… Yeah. So will you go with me." Sungmin asked shyly.
"No, I'm sorry I like someone else. Besides dances aren't my thing." Kangin said. Then he walked away leaving Sungmin all alone.
Suddenly tears starting pouring from his face. He would never be the same after that day.
