Another day
So it's another day here at work and I'm thinking of all the stuff to get done at the apartment and at the new house.
Oh, Kenny bought a house on the 31st of March. It's a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom, fixer-upper in Old Colorado City. The address is 2108 Armstrong Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80904. It's about 5-10 minutes away from the place we are right now but unfortunatley not quite "move-in ready" like the apt. was. There were some minor and some major things that have/had to be fixed. We (Kenny, his mom and dad, and I) have worked our BUTTS off since he's closed on this venture. For those who know what "popcorn" on the ceiling is, we removed all of it from the kichen ceiling. Yes, the KITCHEN ceiling. I was covered in dust, nice white thin dust. EWWWW.
Things left to do...big projects not in the near future but will be done sometime soon....removing a wall, enlarging the full bathroom upstairs, and painting the outside of the house. The smaller projects include painting the inside, fixing the electrical, installing a washer and dryer, and making a kitchen (putting in cabinets, sink, dishwasher)..ya know, the basics!
So, I'm thinking of all these things and telling myself that it would be so much easier if I didn't have to work. I've found that I really don't exactly enjoy work but I really like the money stuff.
Well, if you want to see the inside (the MUCH IMPROVED inside) just come on out and visit. The ski hills are still open and the weather is gorgeous!
