imovie debut

So yeah, pretty much today rocked. Everything just seemed to fall into place...I even got out of a class early. I got to work on my Productivity Tools Project and I am absolutely in love with it. And I'm almost done. I went to Bingo for the first time this semester and got to see all the old regulars. It made me so happy that they remembered me. It just makes me feel like I'm doing something good. And now that Num's in a nursing home, I feel like I would want someone there playing Bingo with her...it's the least I can do. At the same time it doesn't seem real. I haven't seen Num in the nursing home far far away in New Jersey, so the only memories I have of us are of when she was better. When we'd dance in the family room and make rice pudding and chocolate lollipops together. Or when she'd tell me about how she'd skip school to see Frank Sinatra in the city with her friends. It breaks me into a million pieces imagining that she could be like any of the people at St. Mary's. It's easier to not think about it. But it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Well enough about depressing news. Too depressing. Here's some fabulous stuff. My Edit2000 Group got together tonight at the SLC to film a "public service announcement" type deal...So we did a satire on "Online Bullying" which I believe to be a load of crap, and apparently so did my entire group. It's going to be the most amazing short film ever. It should probably be entered at the Cannes Film Festival. Hell, may as well go for the Sundance as well. Needless to say, we interviewed the guy at Jittery Joe's, a security guy, the Papa John's guy, a random guy coming out of the men's bathroom and a random girl we encountered. It might not sound funny, but I don't care BECAUSE I KNOW IT IS. So there. And it only took us an hour.

And so yeah, that's about it. An awesome day and I'm in an oddly good mood. Let's keep this up.
