The journalists of Europe were on a ball when it comes to writing headlines.
The Guardian Unlimited has an article on the debate over hunting whales and how it's fared: Whaling and Gnashing of Teeth. I imagine a posse of blue whales keening in the depths of Whale Hell: an infinite beach full of hidden sandbars and sudden riptides, designed to trap them for the poking and prodding of toddlers. Lo, there is no coming into the Kingdom of Whales save through the Father.
But that one pales in comparison to the BBC's zinger: Australian Man Guilty of Terror. Police are still looking for his accomplice, who's been charged with Secondhand Joy and Conspiring to Feel Calm.
