ooooo-shit. i can rock total eclipse of the heart so hard right now, it's killing me.
tonight we went to a fuddrucker's that's inside of a furniture store. what in the world? plus, they have a trapeze, a light/fountain show, a bunch of junk made of beans, and... furniture i guess. then i met 2 crazy kids named robert and margaret, and hearted them.
i bought an o'reilly book on programming macs using cocoa and objective-c. so for it's not that good. it's a good book, but i don't know if i can accept objective-c as a reasonable modern programming language. why would i allocate memory for an object? why don't i just instantiate it with a constructor? maybe i just can't handle anything that doesn't look like java. plus, xcode doesn't do code completion, so i feel like i'm using notepad. but, the important thing about the book is the cover. on every o'reilly book, there's a drawing of an animal on the cover, and this one has a dog. i just noticed that they drew the dog's wiener. that's something to think about.
