Uh, yeah, Hi there...
So, yeah, it has been a while.
Bet you are wondering what I have been up to. Well, pretty much it has been life as usual, to tell you the truth. We have not made much headway with the kitchen or the basement of late. We also had the furnace blower go out, and I went ahead and replaced the 27 year old furnace that was there. This one is supposed to be more efficient, but we shall see. Here we see before, you know, the stove, in its natural habitat: in the kitchen. Here is the before:
Yes, the kitchen is where this kind of thing belongs... not the Dining Room. Unfortunately, we have that awful wall to deal with. That's OK, we can just cover all that up with Tile. And Thanks to a load of help, not only is the Stove in place with a gas line and everything. All that we need to do is Grout, put the cabinets in place, and put the temporary counters on, and we shall be good.
Tomorrow, I will post the after, which should look much improved before the grouting.
