HanaDan Returns episode 07
I really love this season of Hana Yori Dango! It is better than I had hoped for. <3
I love the new songs and the opening. And everyone looks better this time around.
I love that this season focuses more on all the other characters around Makino and Domyouji. Rui is more of a main character, we got to see Akira's family, and they included Soujiro's story.
Of course the drama is a little different from the manga, but I think that the drama does a great job with its changes for the most part. I'm really glad they changed the ending of Soujiro's sidestory, for instance. I did NOT like his one-night stand with Yuki in the manga. However, I thought that Junpei was kind of unnecessary and out of nowhere. But I do love Junpei and Ikuta Toma, so oh well. As for Rui and Shigeru, they are a lot more...clingy in the drama. Although Rui was my favorite character in the manga, I was rooting for Domyouji because Domyouji needed Makino, whereas Rui was content without having to be her boyfriend. But the love square does make for some added drama. Which HanaDan 2 has a healthy dosage of.

Shigeru is getting annoying. Which I don't like since she's one of my favorite characters in the manga. =/
