Funny that you say that... When I first got here, my starter didn't take a liking to me at all. Although, it's gotten a lot better over the past few months.

[He pauses in thought.] Let's see... I haven't actually beaten Falkner myself since I wasn't in Violet for very long, but I'm pretty sure he uses Flying type pokémon.

Charmander was always one of my favorite lines. I would have expected to get a Squirtle if I ever got pulled into one of these games, myself, but-- anyway. So he's already evolved? Into Charmeleon, or Charizard already?

You know what? I've got an idea. You can catch Ditto outside of Goldenrod. I'm classified as Pokemon breeder, so I might as well start sometime. If you're not too busy, maybe I could pay you to catch one for me, and in exchange I'll send you one of Mira's eggs when they breed.
