(no subject)
My baby's head is 2/5ths engaged! Which is good because at least it's heading in the right direction, but annoying because it means that i need to wee all the time, and I mean ALL the time, and I feel a bit waddley, if that makes sense. Only got four weeks to go, or six according to Gabriel since he's convinced I'll go two weeks overdue and have to be induced. No way! I'm stocking up on the hot curries and hot sex!
The weekend was goooood. Gabriel booked a surprise weekend away to Stratford-Upon-Avon for our wedding anniversary, and it really was a surprise cos I fell asleep in the car and woke up with no idea where we were! We saw amateur dramatics in the park, had a delicious meal and took a punt out on the river. Needless to say, I didn't punt, I just reclined on the floor cushions like I was Elizabeth the first or someone and let Gabriel do all the work. We also had a posh picnic with many different types of cheese and other goodies. Fortunately Gabriel didn't start tripping off the cheese this time (which happened in Bath when he asked for thre strongest unpasteurised cheese in the shop).
Baby's nursery is now painted in fetching shades of lemon and green, with a jungle / safari-esque theme going on. Today I'm going to make a start on the curtains and cot bumpers, it will look so nice when it's all done, I can't wait!
We are planning on having a barbecue either the second or third sunday in august, it'll be our last one for quite a while so everyone must come!
