My feelings towards all parents/teachers/adults
nothing has happened to set me off...i just came across this today and I thought it rather neat and true and well here you go...
"Fuck Them, Fuck what they think...they ain't shit to you. They aren't your parents. Listen to their concerns but make your own damn decisions and be happy, but if something goes wrong....remember its on you and they tried to warn you."
i find that to be good advice...i think that too many times we believe the things we believe, do the things we do, and act the way we act because someone TOLD us to...because it is the "norm". Ask yourself this question...why do you believe in God??? If your parents never took you to church, and society didn't make ppl feel like criminals for not going....would you go??? You wouldn't know what a bible was if someone hadn't told you...and this doesn't just go for religion...it goes for anything in life...if someone didn't tell you that having sex with a million different ppl were wrong...u'd probably end up doing it anyways right??? Or what about college??? If everyone didn't put so much preasure on u and didn't tell you to go...you probably wouldn't go.
People think they think for themselves...but all the do is choose to go with the flow of society or against it. Not one person I know has a true thought or statement of their own...and i doubt very many other ppl in this world will. It's not everyday that an Aristotle, Einstein, Jesus, Hitler, Martin Luther King, Osama, Rosa Parks (shall i go on???) is born. Are all the ppl i mentioned good ppl??? HELL NO...but they all have one thing in common...they are different. they LITERALLY had their own voice...their own ideas...it's kind of like art...Picaso was a very different artist for his time...and now a days all you see is abstract art...but he was the first.
so all I have to say is don't call urself originally...don't do what ur parents or teachers tell you...dont' be afraid to be you...because one day you're going to grow up and be miserable just like the rest of society because yes u did go to college for 4 yeras to sit a desk all day long to do a job that doesn't even make al ot of money and be over worked and have kids that will hate you just like you hate your parents. Instead fuck shit up, make mistakes, be broke, travel across teh country, take a braek from school...do everything they told you not to...because atleast later you can say you really did live your life...and you'll have some great stories to tell...and this is a crazy thought but maybe...just maybe...you'll be happy with yourself.
