First there was the huge, popular knitting yarn manufacturer in the US who won't ship outside the country. Then there was the chocolate importer (their excuse that the chocky might melt is fair enough, but since most of it comes from outside the US in the first place the excuse is a wee bit thin). Next there was the online shop selling bags. And now? Seems I can't have the Mythbusters t-shirt I've wanted for ages for the same reason. And this despite the fact it's sold through Cafe Press, who I've bought products from before with no hassles about international shipping.
Nobody needs to convince me to shop local and support the Aussie economy any more. I have no choice.
