Mmm not yet dead... but getting there! lol
Sigh. Yes, I'm around, haunting but still around.
Dad was diagnosed with a heart-murmur in the beginning of December, so start much family-flailing and recriminations about diet etc.
Of course, it was going to be a quiet Christmas ANYways, with both grandmothers my grandpa and Bailey-boy gone...
He went in for a bypass on the 5th February at our local government hospital, and ended up having a double bypass and aortic valve replacement; was discharged after 10 days then re-admitted to the hospital for secondary infection/deep sepsis of his wound; discharged for five days, then re-admitted for Warfarin (blood-thinner for valve) levels were not stabilising as they should.
I'm now working from home for an ADT-rep, doing her appointments and admin; also still house-sitting and sewing/sewing alterations.
These last six months have been nuts and this house-sitting job has come about at the right time because I was about ready to crack; Trying not to think too much and just get some rest and reconnect with my 'new' friends here.
Got a new series writing I'm working on and I'm doing some research on Swingers... :)
So the writing hasn't disappeared totally.
