admist mahjong, bbq, dvds marathon, coughing and sneezing, i said goodbye to 2006 and welcome 2007 with wide open arms.

i just read a letter i wrote to myself in 2006 about what i wished to achieved in the past year. sadly, i did not accomplish much. but never mind, at least i had much fun and joy and laughter in 2006. is it now a little too late to talk about what the past year means to you?

for me, 2006 was really a year of leaving and parting. ashley and xn going overseas, my uncle posted to overseas.it sucks to part with your loved ones.it is not much of thinking that the distance will put a strain on your relationship, it is more of the inconvience distance put in your relationship. you could no longer just call or sms them and even when they call, you have to limit your talk time to like 15 mins? that really sucks. and email is just different from talking, very different. it just lack the spontanous feeling. skype is also pretty useless to tell the truth.

every year you grow up bit by bit and i think that i grew up quite a bit in 2006. settled some security issues with myself, learn to love myself abit more, learn to be more decisive about some matters. all good :)

as much as i dread going to work, i must admit that working really open my eyes to what the world is like out there. i always have thought that office politics are rubbish, all exagerated rumours, but now i beg to differ. though i have not officially participated in it, but around me you can see how ruthless pple can be in this coporate race.

2007 also means.... i am one step closer to my a levels result slip. am i being paranoid thinking about it when it is still early jan? but it is really agony, not knowing how much you scored, how did you do in the exam. pure torture.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATS!!!!!
