I've only been into the fashion for nearing a year, and did not start building my wardrobe until April of 2012. It's small, but I'm very happy with the pieces I have, and the variety of coordinates I can create with them.
JSKs
Baby the Stars Shine Bright - Early Summer Chocolate Strawberry Parfait. My first brand purchase, I fell in love with this at first sight! This dress probably contributed to the theme and color palette of my wardrobe.
Baby the Stars Shine Bright - Marble Sugar Drop JSK. I picked this up over the summer from their online outlet page. The chiffon is an absolute delight, perfect since I live in hot and humid Florida.
Angelic Pretty - Melty Royal Chocolate Low Waist JSK. The entire Royal Chocolate series is a dream of mine, but I eventually figured out it was going to be tough to acquire. Fortunately, I fell in love with MRC, and was able to get my hands on one. Originally, I wanted the brown colorway, but once my dress arrived, I couldn't be happier with bitter!
SKIRTS
Bodyline - Chocoberry Skirt. This print is so adorable, and definitely one of my favorites of their's. I took the bow that was included and altered it to make a smaller headbow.
Handmade by me. This skirt is actually a skirt and an underskirt. The pink truffle skirt was the first lolita piece I had, worn in my first (pretty terrible) coordinate back in April. It was also the beginning of my adventures with my sewing machine. The brown ruffled underskirt did not make it's appearance until a couple of months later.
Handmade by me. The second skirt I made. It's evolved a bit since I first bought the fabric, I've also come to the conclusion that it's time to add more classic pieces to my wardrobe!
BLOUSES
Top row - thrifted chiffon
Middle row - all thrifted
Bottom row - Magic Tea Party, Bodyline
As a busty lolita, buying blouses is the bane of my existence, so I usually fall back on loliable offbrand. Bodyline blouses have proved to be a poor choice, there's always something wrong with the fit. The one I have pictured is otherwise quite nice, but I need to take in the sleeves and replace the buttons.
CARDIGANS and a BOLERO
From top to bottom: Angelic Pretty, Baby the Stars Shine Bright, Angelic Pretty
LEGWEAR
As you can see I'm severely lacking in this department. The first column has two pairs of offbrand tights, a pair of lace ankle socks (handmade by me). Then a pair of socks from Bodyline, Angelic Pretty's Chocolate Logo OTKs, and a pair of offbrand cherry socks, that I usually pair with my Bodyline wristcuffs to make a pair of lace topped socks.
HATS, HEADWEAR, JEWELRY, and OTHER ACCESSORIES
A miniscule collection, all offbrand or handmade by me.
Worth mentioning - the fur collar is from Peacockalorum on Etsy, but I replaced the ribbon that came with it because it seemed cheap to me. The deer antler headband was made by me for my Halloween deer coordinate. The parasol is a cute umbrella a friend purchased for me for Christmas - no frills, but the edge of it has a lovely scallop to it, and it matches my wardrobe perfectly.
PURSES
I've without a doubt purchased more purses (and shoes) since getting into this fashion than I ever have in my entire life!
Top row: Angelic Pretty, Forever 21, thrifted
Middle: both Angelic Pretty
Bottom: decca c - it even smells like chocolate!
SHOES
On the right I have my Bodyline boots, Bodyline red bow shoes, and Antaina tea parties. Everything else I picked up from normal stores. You can't tell in the picture, but the gold oxfords have a subtle sparkle to them!
Thanks for looking! That's about it for this year. If you'd like - you can check out
my Tumblr. I've been a bit inactive lately due to a new teaching job, but I blog lots of chocolate, as well as my own outfits from time to time.
