Last night was a complete blast, lemme tell ya. I'm quickly becoming hooked to this "going out" business, and it's something I should seriously do more often. I'm way too lazy. >_>

I met up with some friends of mine down at Paceville (that's the central nightspot in Malta, for all you... not-Maltese.) for some fun, but this time I paid close attention to what and how much i drank (a fortnight ago i nearly got totally drunk off my ass from mixing a pint of beer with a rather large glass of bad wine... i learnt my lesson from that incident.). I ended up just feeling happy throughout, which is great. I wasn't in the mood for beer, so i started off a little later than usual - and the evening started out rather slow too. It felt as though I was invisible to many people and one of the guys in the group I was with also completely didn't hear what i was saying to him at one point. I was speaking to him right to his face and he was not drunk at all. That seriously injured my confidence, I must say.

Though after a while I started talking to him a little more, and we got into one hell of a conversation. I believe I've found a new friend, and he's so totally awesome. :D From that point I loosened up quite a bit, and we went into a bar for the rest of the evening, where we drank, made asses out of ourselves, and watched the Eurovision song crapfest - oh sorry, i meant song contest :P While everyone else went to watch it while they were giving out points to the contestants and stuff. A friend of mine and I really didn't care about it, so to keep ourselves busy we tried to guess the points each country would give us next, and for each one we guess, we take a shot of sambuka. At the end of the voting, after about 20 countries... We drank two shots each. :P

It was also my first time out with contact lenses! That was really fun - It's great to have clear vision without worrying about cleaning the stupid lenses of your glasses every so often. It's also really great to be reassured that the computer really hasn't destroyed my ability to socialise, just like everyone warns me about. Well, to them I say a big "Ha" and for all I care they can all stuff themselves.

On a less happy note, tomorrow I have two more exams, one of which is the last one of the Maltese examination board. After that I'll have 5 British Maths exams, which are easy. The only stress I'll have until those are over is the worry about the results of the Maltese exams, heh. Here's hoping.
