A good weekend
Well, this past weekend was awesome, and I'm very very sad to see it go. Kevin arrived on Thursday night to visit me. When he got here we spent a lot of time just cuddling and talking, and then I went and introduced him to a bunch of people on my floor. I finished some homework that was due the next day and then we went for a walk around campus and to A&P to get breakfast and snack foods. On Friday I went to class nice and early (8:30 class) and got back to res at around 12. Kevin and I went for lunch, talked, and just hung out in the afternoon, followed by a yummy dinner with some floormates. After dinner we did a little homework before watching Sphere in the common room with a couple of other people there too. We went to bed fairly early that night because we were both really tired. Saturday was fun. We woke up pretty late, went for brunch, then listened to the football game while doing homework. Dinner with just the two of us, and then a little more work, and then we decided to go to the Queen's Pub since a lot of my friends aren't 19 and I haven't had a chance to go to any of the bars. It was really really fun. There was a guy playing nice acoustic guitar and singing in the background, and the drinks were amazingly good and cheap, along with the food. It was a very good time had by both. We came back to rez around 12 and met up with some of my floorie friends. We talked and hung out with them until about 3, posting up teddy graham bears on people's bulletin boards and dropping objects down 6 flights of stairs just to see what would happen. very crazy, very fun.
Today we woke up at 12 but didn't actually get up until more like 1. It was nice. We walked down by the lake and up through downtown. I bought vitamins and zinc because I just can't seem to shake a cold and caf food just doesn't cut it nutrient wise. We went to pita pit for dinner (yummmmm) and then Kevin left to catch his train back to Ottawa, which was very sad and involved lots of crying. :( I'm feeling a little better now.
Anyways, I'm still drowning in homework, so I've gots to go. Love ya and miss you all.
