Thank you for your review! Despite the length, you were able to share all your thoughts well. I wanted to wait until the drama's end before I watch it since the plot is not my cup of tea but I wanted to give it a chance. I think I won't give it a chance though, with all the reviews I've been reading from different posts.
I agree in the points that you have stated. It would have been nice if they had a tragic ending, even if looking at it for consistency's sake. I mean I know the brothers are the male leads, but I guess there has been shortcomings in the narration, thus, it can't be clear on how Yu liked Hikari. Also, about Azusa... even before the ending, I've already been reading disappointed posts so... I don't need to re-echo that. lol
A side of me wants to think that they wanted to stick close to reality(?), that a girl sometimes does stay with the man despite how twisted their relationship looks to others (which is sad). If that's what they were going for, then C and A is indeed tragic or dark. I'm still all for the 'brother A killing brother B' ending. Does that sound scary? Sorry for wanting to kill a fictional character. I just wanted to see how it looks if they stay close to the inspiration.
Thanks for the response, Elle! And for reading my review! :D
The tragic ending would have been so fitting, tbh. And if they wanted to go with a happy ending (because well, getsu9), then they could've written a better one at least. So many elements got so much screen time, which I would've fully understood if these elements were focused all the way to the end. But sadly, they weren't. :(
A side of me agrees with you regarding that as well, but such a big part of me is still so irked by how they couldn't even explain why. If they made such a twisted decision, they should've given proper explanation at least. Same though, hahaha!! I really was expecting one brother to kill the other. And I honestly wanted that to happen too. =)) Would've made for a much more interesting ending.
