Walk for Autism!
Hey guys, it's Tuesday! I like Tuesdays. Because I always think it's Monday, and halfway through the morning I realize that no! It's Tuesday! And I do a happy little wiggle.
Tuesday also means that Saturday is four days away... and THIS Saturday is special because it is the first annual Walk For Autism in Georgia. The goal is to raise $1 million for autism research and treatment. The Marcus Institute has partnered with Autism Speaks to host this walk, and we're splliting the money raised 50/50.
Mark and I and trying to raise just a lil bit of that money... we need 30 people to donate $5.00 each for a grand total of $150 dollars. Maybe that's not a lot, but it's something! And none of my friends are millionaires....yet. So, I'm reaching out to my LJ friends, too! If you could donate $5.00 .... or even $1.00 ... on or before this Saturday, May 19, we would greatly appreciate the support!
