Whatever happened to satire? It used to be common, sometimes silly, and recognized as something so extreme, so odd, so unbelievable as to be amusing. Satire makes a point about society. But most importantly, satire is not fact. Please, people, do me a favor as you go out into the wide world of the internet: If the story, article, news report, email, or blog you're reading is 1. Too bizarre to be true, and 2. Not from a source you trust, PLEASE take the time to consider the fact that it MAY NOT BE REAL.
