monday madness
monday was so mad...I had to do these today:
1. Sometimes I wish I could just fly.
2. If I could take a long weekend to have adrenaline-pumping FUN, I'd be very happy.
3. The world would be a better place if more people would just live and let live.
4. One of my greatest qualities is my strength.
5. The one thing about me that I need to work on is my lack of confidence when it comes to women.
6. Happiness is BUTCH WOMEN.

Oh man oh man oh man...I think I'd rather have my teeth pulled than go into work tomorrow. I took a nap today on the office floor I was so BEAT. Tomorrow...oh GAWD. Headstart apparently told everyone that we START doing Christmas boxes tomorrow. Tomorrow, of all fucking days! Tomorrow we have the orientation for bell ringers and we're inputing applications. We also are still doing Christmas applications and with Headstart telling everyone the wrong information we are going to get SLAMMED tomorrow. PLUS, we have a huge ass shipment of food coming in, which we have to inventory down to the last energy bar and then stock everything. We have to bag all the fruit so we don't attract a gazillion fruit flies again and I just don't know how that's going to happen. Today Denise's son got into a fight and got his knuckles shattered so she had to leave to take him to Urgent Care. I don't know if she'll be in tomorrow morning, but I do know she won't be in the afternoon 'cuz she has to go to her welfare check in. I'm excused for the week so I'll be there. Adam will be in the morning but he's got a part time job so he won't be in the afternoon. Gena got a job. She's gone. I saw her today and did her application so that was great. Also met her mother. Brandy I think is not feeling well. I miss her too. :( SO, it's going to be mainly ME. Just little 'ol me to handle ALL of that. Although Glenna will be there (she better be or I will hunt her down LOL) and Lois. We only have TWO computers. And then there's Gabbie, our new bilingual volunteer, who is a godsend but I don't think she's trained on the computers which is fine 'cuz for all my complaining I'd rather be behind the computers anyway instead of out in the lobby amidst the confusion. At least if I snap completely, it won't be a client whose head I'd rip off. :D
Yesterday, today, and especially tomorrow are going to be MAJOR growing days for me. I'm going to see if I have what it takes to handle a fast paced work environment. 'Cuz I don't think it can get more fast paced than this.
