Wherein I pass along a note to Emer_Dange, WolfofZion, and anyone else regarding fan works

Okay, so I mentioned to Wynette the ideas being tossed around and have been enlightened - in ways that are really cool to imagine - about a few things.  She is all for the fanfics, and the role playing (as long as say, you don't write a RPing book and sell it, lol).  However, screenplay adaptations and graphic novels may be a copyright issue.  Particularly since she would be open to a movie deal, and if that ever happened, she would write the screenplay herself (she has a background in film); likewise, if able to find a suitable artist, she would be open to doing a graphic novel adaptation.  So, to have fanworks of this nature floating around in cyberspace when there may someday be official ones can cause problems.  If you are wanting to do fanworks like these, you should contact her directly and discuss exactly what you would like to do (and what you plan to do with what you create).  Without her written permission, that could be a copyright violation.  So, I just wanted to warn you all. : )  If you need to contact her, you can email me at wren.alienperspective@yahoo.com (as mentioned in a previous post, my @alienperspective address is unreachable at the moment) with your email address and I will pass it along to her.  She said in light of this she will make a post, or some kind of list, about what is copyright-OK and what isn't and either post it on the website (alienperspective.com) or her blog.  I am, I must warn you, horribly negligent about checking the yahoo mail, so if you don't hear back right away, she's not ignoring you - it's likely Wren is a dork and has forgotten to check her yahoo mail for a while! ^_^  I will also post her list/blog/post about what is kosher and what isn't once she has sent it to me.

Now, that being said, wouldn't it be awesome if there really WAS a RBW movie or graphic novel adaptation someday?? :D
