>I'm also toying with the idea of creating a screenplay adaptation, just for the hell of it.

I've always wanted to make RBW a series of movies and/or an anime. How would you deal with so much of the story being in Will's head in the screenplay? Would you have him "narrate," as it were, the movie? Or just be even more verbose?

>And secondly, whilst perusing the yahoo group, I was ecstatic to find that myspace accounts have been made for Will, Gaston and Striker.

There is a Pete page, too, but I'm at a bit of an impasse there because I attributed that one to my @alienperspective email address, which I can't access at my computer, because I'm on dial up, and a Mac, and it's *just* *not* *working*!!! Argh. So I can't do certain things to that account, like give him friends, until I can confirm via that email address. But Will's is the only one that is fairly done and has been made public for now, anyway. For those of you *not* reading the Yahoo group, all of their MySpace pages are going to be dropping teaser hints about Wolves in their status messages - which you can see even if the page isn't made public. Right now all their hints are about the first chapter of Wolves. As I see new chapters from Wynette, new hints will be posted.

I used to RP on AOL message boards/chat rooms back in the mid/late 90s (I don't think most of the groups I played with exist anymore), and it was actually a lot of fun. Some of our characters were techno-savvy, and some were... not. It was up to the mun (the player), if they chose to have their character interact with technology or not, or from the perspective that they were using a computer at various times, or not. We had everyone from Darth Vader to medieval elves to vampires to modern humans, so it was a fair mix, to say the least. Sometimes the most amusing posts were putting those who would have no idea what technology was in contact with it... "there was this strange box that glowed, and words were written on it..."

For the screenplay, I would probably have Will narrate, though I could probably cut a lot of the thoughts out and find a way to convey it through action or cinematography, if I really work at it.

If I had a myspace, I would totally be watching all of you. xD

I would really like to start an RP up...just for the hell of it. I think it'd be really amusing to play with different characters' reactions to technology.

You can see their MySpace pages (or rather, you can see Will's MySpace page and the status of the others, because they are set to "private" until they are done) without having a MySpace account. Only if you want to be their "friend" do you need a MySpace account. Go to:

http://www.myspace.com/rbwwill ...and you'll see it. The others are, naturally: .../rbwgaston .../rbwstriker and .../rbwpete , respectively.

Oh, damn! I didn't realize that! You can see his page, but apparently not his status message - which is where the hints are - if you are not logged into a MySpace account. Boogersnots! Well, I'll just tell you what they are at the moment:

Will: Will is wishing Gaston and Pete would hurry up.

Gaston: Gaston is going to kill many people with Pete if he has to.

Striker: Striker hates being in chains.

Pete: BeMakin'APlan.

There are your first chapter of Wolves hints. :)
