Hello world. Well, it's certainly been hot out these past few days, now hasn't it? I figured I'd update because it's been so so very long. I am reading the book "Dry" by Augusten Burrouhgs (of "Running With Scissors" fame). He is such a funny, fantastic writer... like David Sedaris funny but with a substance abuse problem and amazingly f'ed up childhood to boot. At any rate, five stars, check him out! For you non-readers, the film adaptation of "Running With Scissors" comes out this fall.
In other news, I will be in Chicago August 15-17, so perhaps I could meet up with Chicago friends, hmm? If anyone knows of some interesting concerts, etc going on please let me know.
