Can somebody plz tell me what a client is? I'm technologically challenged and the FAQ makes no sense to me.

A LJ client is a program on your computer that you can use to post to your LJ instead of going to the LJ website. If you're going to get one, get Semagic. It's very straightfoward. ^_^;
